IMPG call for > “Person-Centered” Art

I am doing an art project for {IMPG call for > “Person-Centered} through Aktion Club. Witch I am the president this year. It's about time sense I have been the secretary sense Aktion Club started in ‘02. By being in Aktion Club those with disabilities have a sense of belonging. Sheila Klinker along with Kiwanis Club of Lafayette-Harrison and The ARC of TippecanoeCounty.

This has given me the chance to show others my poetry. I have written 30 all ready. I can send you them in word if you like. My mom spell checked them, sense the computer does not recognize all my misspellings.

You can go to the website and find one near you to see others with disabilities. Artwork will be shown around the state of Indiana.

Sense this hub is to short, I will tell you about me being in ALPs (Athlete Leadership Program). Special Olympics is much more than just sports. Athlete can go to monthly meeting and talk about how that can improve their SpecialOlympicsCounty or Country.

By being in ALPs, athletes can achieve a sense of being a leader. Sense most athletes wont go to collage, this gives them a neat chance to be in a college setting. Given this chance, athlete have done many things.

One being such as like an athlete being on the {Board of Directors to serve as Sergeant Shriver International Global Messengers for a tenure of two years. Like Martha Hill of the United States, who says, “I feel the training and opportunities given to me through Special Olympics were an investment in me, and I need to use my abilities to help champion the rights of all those with disabilities.”}

For me, I got a crush on a guy when I was 15. Now, I just look up to him. You know how kids can be. Anyway, I am glad I got involved. You can choose one or all major’s. Which are Governance, Sports, or Commutations. I choose Commutations, for trying to get more younger athletes in Special Olympics by giving speeches.

Now tell me who can give speeches better? In one of my classes, someone said that we give better speeches. Because, most business people can’t or don’t like it; something like that.

Being in ALPs take’s a lot of hard work. But it’s all for a great cause. Don’t you think?
